Elephants might Fly at the Park by the Shops

Hello

Thanks for calling in.

I hope you won't get too dizzy as I whoosh you away from Australia back to life at home.  Shopping has to be done, mundane though it is, although a trip round the park by the shops on the way is always a treat.

If you had a look at yesterday's Australian plants, you can compare them with these typical British ones in the park that used to be a private estate.

Colourful elephants on the merry-go-round wait patiently for the optimum moment.

Way back before the holidays, I showed you the little balls of fluff which were the Egyptian geese. Just look at them now, stretched out relaxing after a taxing morning at the lake.

Whizzing to Oz again next time!

Cheerio

  1. Lovely park, must be nice to be rich enough to afford having a garden like that.

  4. The elephants on a merry-go-round are novel, I've only ever seen horses. ;-)

  5. Nice to see the little ducklings have grown up. So funny to see their legs stretched out as they relax! Love the view of the estate at the end of the lake and all the pretty flowering trees and plants. Unusual to see elephants on the merry-go-round! xx Karen
