Great to see you.
A quick scoot through Tate is always exciting. What would I find this time?
Eduardo Paolozzi - Tapestry 1966 |
A Louise Bourgeois spider |
Sheela Gowda - Behold - made from car bumpers and human hair |
Hito Steyerl - A video |
Cildo Meireles |
The Passing Winter 2005 by Yayoi Kusama |
I had great fun looking through the holes in the above work by Kusama |
Cristina Iglesias - Pavilion Suspended in a Room 2005 |
Roni Horns - Pink Tons 2009 - this cube of glass constantly changes colour during the day due to the light conditions. |
Outside the Tate and walking along towards Borough Market, more art to admire. |
Just to prove, we do get blue skies sometimes! |
Cheerio
I prefer the street art to modern art. We've walked by Tate Modern many a time and never felt tempted to go in.
ReplyDeleteNext time, go in and admire the view from the top. ๐
DeleteIt looks like the variety of the artwork means there's something for everyone. Even 'the stranger' pieces must make you stop and think. Our DiL is always talking about her visits and I would like to go to this art gallery. Thank you for sharing what's currently being exhibited.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great place with so much yo see, I love the building itself!
